Langley’s First New Affordable Apartments in More Than 35 Years
Welcome Home
Located in the seaside village of Langley on Whidbey Island, Generations Place will offer fourteen apartments across three modern farmhouse-style buildings—designed by and for the community to serve households with modest incomes.
The seven ground floor and seven walk-up apartments are a mix of two- and three-bedroom homes. They are well-suited for a range of household sizes, with features that support comfortable, day-to-day living.
Construction is underway now, with occupancy beginning in June 2026.

About Apartment Rates
At Generations Place, rents are determined by unit size, and household income as it compares to Island County's median income, adjusted for household size.
Rates vary by household and are confirmed during the application process.
